McCain walked right into the trap.� Now the question is will he be able to escape without harm or will this move cause serious injury or even death to his campaign?

True leaders know that there are certain things that only they can do because of the office or position they hold.� They know it is imperative to effectively delegate tasks so they can concentrate on� and be available to take actions that only they can take to keep the mission on track.

With this in mind, one must ask a serious question.� Which is of greater importance to the nation; participating in crafting a bailout package or preventing Obama from becoming President?

Over 500 congressmen and senators are available to work on a bailout plan in addition to the President, Fed Chairman, Treasury Secretary, etc.

Only one man, John McCain, can stop Barack Obama from becoming the next President of the United States.

With less than 6 weeks before the election McCain decided to "suspend" his campaign in order to participate in the debate on this "financial rescue plan" as the President calls it.�

Now it would be one thing to go into Washington for a day or two and see if you could be helpful.� But what is this "suspend the campaign" nonsense?

Specifically, why would you try to stop all the media advertising for your campaign while you are in Washington?� Do you think these things can't continue while you talk with other politicians?

See the problem is that he said he was suspending the campaign until this other issue is resolved.� But guess what?� It may not be resolved for days or weeks

So what then?� You either have to restart the campaign without a resolution (looks bad) or you leave the campaign in limbo just before the election (is bad).

And of course all the while the democrats (and some stupid republicans) will blame McCain for any delays or anything else that is perceived as negative by the public in order to diminish his chances to be elected President.

Yep, they used the old financial crisis bait to lure him into the trap.... Oldest trick in the book.....
